85-year-old Abelardo Navarrette of El Paso, TX appears on episode #99 of Hometown Heroes, January 16, 2010. A native of Sierra Blanca, TX, Navarrette enlisted in the army at age 17 and served with the 35th Infantry Division in Europe during World War II.
