92-year-old Mike Martinez of Fort Collins, CO appears on episode #446 of Hometown Heroes, airing November 18-20, 2016. A native of rural western Colorado, Martinez served on a .50-caliber machine gun crew in Europe during World War II, attached to the 82nd Airborne Division.
