My father-in-law, Harold “Newt” Newell Served on CV-18 Wasp in 1943 as part of VF-14 as part of the “Iron ANGELS”. I have his pilot’s log books. But entries stop after about Oct 1943. I don’t know if a logbook is missing or what or where the Wasp operated after that date. I was wondering if you could fill in the gaps on Newt and the Wasp between Oct 43 and Aug 45.

    Thank you

PS: I also sent you some info for your book and have a copy of it.
