Before Israeli leaders Isaac Herzog and Naftali Bennett addressed the crowd in Jerusalem, six holocaust survivors served as “torchlighters,” one survivor for every one million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. One of those lighting the flame at Yad Vashem was Olga Kay, a native of Hungary who raised her family in the United States after World War II before moving to Israel.
