94-year-old Chuck Farritor of Claremont, CA appears on episode #539 of Hometown Heroes, airing August 30-September 2, 2018. A native of Custer County, Nebraska, Farritor served on troop ships, hospital ships, and sea tugs with the U.S. Merchant Marine during World War II and the Korean War.
