Episode #637 of Hometown Heroes, airing July 16-20, 2020, details the newly completed documentary, Flight Path to NASA: A Pilot’s Journey, with filmmaker Cameron Mitchell and the subject of the documentary, legendary test pilot Don Mallick.

Mallick, who shared his story on episode #534 of Hometown Heroes in 2018, will turn 90 years old in October, 2020. He and Mitchell are hopeful that distribution plans for the film will be finalized by then.
