Episode #761 of Hometown Heroes, airing November 26 – December 1, 2022, continues the story of Navy pilot Jim Lloyd with all the twists and turns that enabled him to escape from behind enemy lines in Vietnam fifty years ago.
One of the most moving episodes on Hometown Heroes. I am a few months older than Mr. Lloyd and although I was never in the military for health reasons, I really appreciate his service. I have a friend who was a rescue swimmer in the Navy during the Viet Nam war – I need to contact him to learn more about his service since I now have a better appreciation of what the rescue helicopters and swimmers went through.
