100-year-old Mickey Ganitch of San Leandro, CA appears on episode #607 of Hometown Heroes, airing December 19-24, 2019, as well as episode #608, airing December 26-30. A native of Mogadore, OH, Ganitch survived the attack on Pearl Harbor aboard the battleship USS Pennsylvania (BB-38).
