94-year-old Chester “Ski” Biernacki of Jamestown, CA tells his story of survival on episode #441 of Hometown Heroes, airing October 14-16, 2016. A native of New Bedford, MA, Biernacki was aboard the light cruiser USS Helena (CL-50) on the morning of December 7, 1941.
