On the ballot as a Democrat, Mezzetti just completed an unsuccessful run for governor of California. He did receive over 11,000 votes in the June primary, finishing 16th out of 27 candidates. You’ll hear him reference potentially running for office again in the future, and you’ll also find him running every morning at 4 a.m. He runs a 3-mile loop around his rural San Joaquin County home.
