95-year-old Leo Griego of Albuquerque, NM appears on episode #612 of Hometown Heroes, airing January 23-27, 2020. Griego served with the 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment, 1st Marine Division during World War II, and was wounded by shrapnel from a mortar shell in the Battle of Peleliu in September, 1944.
