95-year-old Ray Lee of Fresno, CA appears on episode #595 of Hometown Heroes, airing September 26-30, 2019. Born in San Francisco, raised in Fresno and Coalinga, Lee served as a medic with the 97th Infantry Division in World War II. Decades later, he began volunteering at the Veterans Memorial Museum, Home of the Legion of Valor. His 27 years of service to the museum resulted in his having a room there named in his honor.
